I'm a wet dog!

OK, this isn't really me...mom likes to find pictures of dogs (and humans) when she gets lazy and doesn't want to take a picture!  Mom and I went for a walk a few minutes ago and half way through it started to rain!!  Mom ran, and I mean ran, all the way up the hill...only problem she made me run too!  I kinda look a lot like this dog except I'm panting a lot more!  But so is mom!

Dad noticed it was raining so he came and picked us up in the golf cart.  THANKS, dad!  Just wish it would have been sooner so I didn't have to run up that hill!

I'm just too busy to be a blog dog!

Yes, I really am really cute but I don't just sit around all day long looking pretty!

I'm a busy girl!  When mom gets up she makes me go outside first thing...not sure  why!  If I have to go, I ring the bell...so sometimes I just sit on the patio and look at the birds, chase a gecko or two or just watch my buddy, Fonzie, through the fence....ok, eventually I do go potty...sometimes I hold it just to make my mom wait by the door!  I love teasing her!

So after our 'go potty' routine, then we feed Gracie and I wait for her to drop some food my way.  I love Gracie's pellets and mom will give me one when she feeds Grace.  I'm not so crazy about the banana's or apples she gets....after mom has about four cups of coffee we go for our 1st one and half mile morning walk!  I love my walks...I get to see squirrels and people and dogs!  I never bark but I do run up to people!  I'm not suppose to but.....

when we get back from our walk, I'm usually tired and hungry...not always in that order...so we get some breakfast and then I get a treat when mom makes dad a sandwich to take with him golfing.  Then I rest!

I have to rest because mom and dad will take me on a golf cart ride when dad comes home!  I love my golf cart rides...sometimes I get to go to the doggie park and play with other dogs.  Mom says I get too dirty so I only get to go there when shes going to give me a bath!

Then it's food time (again)...we eat alot here in our house...well, at least I do.  Mom and dad say they eat out a lot too!  I don't know why they don't eat at home like they do in Michigan but it's ok.  I get some alone time (you know mom is always with me!)

I've always been good at throwing my toys at mom and dad.  it's my way to get them to play with me!  This is me playing with my chewie!  So now you know why I'm not good at being a blog dog!  I'm too busy right now being a dog!

Livin' the good life!

Yep, I'm a lucky dog all right!  Get to live in Florida and just lay around, play a little, go for walks and eat!  Mom and dad sure eat a lot so I guess it's ok for me to do the same!  Although, mom said I have to lose wt so I don't get treats like I used too!  What's up with that!  I don't see mom and dad giving up any food...if I only have fingers like mom so I could open my treat bag myself!  They go out to dinner enough so I could eat all I want! 
Mom does get me to play a lot, in between our 1 mile daily walks!  This is me playing with my chew toy.  I only do this to amuse mom...she gets so giddy when I play...doesn't take much to make her happy! 

Who knew!

Well, who knew that I could get a bladder infection!!!  Thank goodness for my mom who watches me so close!  She was doing her normal 'watching me pee' routine and saw some blood on my 'behind'....she took me right in to the vets this past Wed. and so I'm now on medicine!  The vet said I'm young to get this but she also told my mom that Bichon's are prone to bladder/kidney stones!  Who knew that too!!!  Of course, mom freaked out! 
So we're off to the dog park...sure hope there are some dogs to play with again!  I love going to the dog park!!!

Exercise Time in Florida!

Mom took me to the dog park area today and boy did I have fun!!!  This is me and my new friends, Dexter and Bailey (he's another Bichon, which I've met before).  Dexter and I had loads of fun running around!!  But I'm tired now!

Whew! I'm a tired dog!

Mom and I got back from visiting my cousins again yesterday afternoon and I'm still tired...although, I did make mom take me for a walk around 8 last night! 


On our first day, Sherry and I got to go for a ride!  We went to a strawberry farm and mom and MaryAnn bought strawberries and Nancy bought us a strawberry sundae!

  I didn't know what that was (mom doesn't get ice cream for me!) but MaryAnn let us each try some!  YUM!!!

All I got was a little ice cream but it was still a treat!! 


This is Sherry and me playing in the house!  We did this all the time but sometimes mom would make us stop!  Geezzz 

We get to take lots of walks while we are staying with my cousins.  I love my walks and I really like walking with Remy!  He's so handsome.  This is Remy when we went to the dog park!  I even ran with him but I can't catch the ball like he does!  My mom isn't so good at taking videos either!  But you get the idea!

I have so much fun with my cousins!  It's nice to have another dog around to play with.  I only wish I could talk mom and dad (well, actually it's more dad than mom!) into getting me a little sister!  Maybe one day......oops, dad saw me typing and just said "NO WAY!"   What's that all about!  Yikes!  It would only be a 'little sister' and I would teach it all my tricks....like how to eat soap and play with toilet paper!

At least I had some fun!

When mom ignores me, sometimes I just have to get her attention!  I just love, love, love playing with TP!  Actually, I like to eat it too!!!! 

Dad was really surprised when he went into the bathroom and found all of this!  They still don't know when I did it but I'll never tell!  Heck, I did bark once (I only bark once when I want something) but they ignored me sooooooooo...........I had a fun time!  I think dad did too because he was laughing the entire time he was picking up all my 'mess' (that's what mom said it was!).  I enjoy making my mom and dad laugh!

Gee, maybe I'll do it again today!  I want to keep them happy because mom and dad sure make me happy!!!
