My Doctor Visit in Florida!

Go figure!  Mom made me go to the doctors here in Florida today!  Mom doesn't like the red stain I have on my face and she thought it could be allergies...she said I rub my eyes just like her and dad do when they have allergies.  I don't know what allergies are but I don't think they are bugs!  Mom's always looking at my belly to make sure I don't have bugs.  I think she would freak out if I did!  I know dad would for sure!

So anyway, off to the doctor we went this morning...the lady doctor was really nice, well, until she did this 'thing' with my backside!  She wanted to make sure my 'anal' glands were clean!  WHAT!  YIKES!  Who told her to do that!  I thought I was going for my face stain!  Geezzz  I just think she made a mistake and reached for the wrong end! 

This was me after the 'backside' thing!  The doctor finally got to my 'front' side and said I do have allergies.  She gave mom some pills for me to take every 12 hours.  I guess I'll always have a stain on my face, even though mom washes my face every night after she brushes my teeth.  The Dr. suggested mom try some Angel Eyes supplement but mom wants to wait until we get home.  She wants to see how the medicine works and if I still have those darn 'allergies' when we get back to Michigan.  Maybe the 'allergies' will stay in Florida!  I sure hope so!  I don't want to go back to the Dr. here again...she just might get my back side and front side mixed up again!

Gracie and Me!

Mom brought Gracie in the bathroom yesterday.   I think she wanted her teeth brushed just like me!

 

Mom said Gracie doesn't have teeth.  Whew!  I was worried for a minute that mom might use my toothbrush on her!

Today, Gracie and I sat out in the lanai with mom.  There was a nice breeze which I like to feel on my tummy.  I wouldn't let mom take my picture...it's not very lady like! 
Dad just called mom and me for our golf cart ride.  They are going to go out (again!) and leave me so this way they don't feel so guilty...plus, I make them take me for another ride when they get home!  I love manipulating mom and dad (I know that's a big word...mom uses it all the time!).

Visit with my cousins!

This is my cousin, Sherry!  Mom calls her the "selfish cousin".  She's actually smiling here but it doesn't look like it.  Mom also calls her a "monkey"...I don't know why!

And this is handsome, Remy!  I really like, I mean REALLY like Remy!  Oh yea, that's Sherry's butt sticking out from under the couch in the back!  She likes to hide under there and tease me!

I climbed in Sherry's crate!  It was a little snug to say the least!  But I got in!  Sherry didn't like that I was in there but ha, ha...

Mom took a video while she was getting us all to sit for a treat!  She did this all the time!  For some reason, she just thought it was so funny to see us all sit together!  We also did lots of walking in the community which was fun...well, fun until I would have to be washed off because I got into sand, dirt, twigs....all kinds of fun things!  I can't wait until next year to go back and visit with my cousins again!!!

One more video!  This is my 2nd day of playing with the 'shower' thing!!  What fun!  Mom said because I just got a bath and my hair trimmed, I wasn't allowed to go in the shower for a few days!

 Maybe that's why she's taking me on another overnight trip!  Mom and I are going to see my cousin(s) again!!!  Yippee!!! 

I love showers!

What fun I've had for the past few days!!  I didn't know it but dad put some showers outside for me!!!  Isn't he nice!  Dad calls them a "sprinkler system" but I still call them showers!
 I didn't know what the showers things were for...but when mom let me outside I found out!  I like showers better than a bath.  Although, mom gives me a rinse when I come inside from my shower!  I'm still not sure why!

More sleeping

Mom and I spent some 'together' time out in the lanai yesterday afternoon. I love sitting in the rocking chair so I made sure to get first dibs on it before mom got there! Snooze.......
We went for our walk this morning early. It's going to be another warm day (mom said) so she likes to walk before it gets too hot. So do I...it's really warm close to the street! We'll go for our walk after dinner when it cools done. So guess I'll just have to head to my rocking chair!!

My new game!

I am a spoiled dog but that's OK! Mom bought me a new 'toy' the other day. It's called a puzzle! I didn't know what a puzzle was but I figured it out really quick! Mom hides food and treats inside the little dishes then I have to take my nose or my paws to open them!
Mom likes to make me work for me food at night. She said this way dad and she and at least read the newspaper in 5 minute intervals (that's a big word I heard mom say!).
Mom and I took our walk already this a.m. It's so nice out here in Florida. Mom said I'm going to be spoiled because it will probably be snowing when we return to Michigan in April. That's OK! I like the snow too! I'm an all weather dog!!
